Rent the SmallRig Mini Matte Box Lite from Rentora in Colombo for LKR 1,000 per day. This compact camera-rig accessory fits at the front of a lens to help shade unwanted light and glare, giving you more control over flare and contrast during video shoots. It is a practical add-on for a compact camera rig or cinema setup. Confirm that it suits your lens and rig configuration, check your dates for availability, and add it to your booking online.
Stray light hitting the front element is what makes footage look flat and slightly milky, and no amount of grading fully recovers it. A matte box sits ahead of the lens and cuts that light before it ever reaches the sensor.
The Mini Matte Box Lite is the compact version of that idea: light enough that it does not unbalance a small rig, and quick enough to mount that it is worth fitting even on a fast-moving shoot. The payoff is better contrast straight out of camera and fewer surprise flares when someone opens a door behind you.
Rented for narrative work, commercials and any shoot where the image needs to hold up under grading. Pairs naturally with a tripod or monopod setup where the camera stays in one place long enough to control the light properly.
