At 90 cm this is the everyday softbox size: soft enough to flatter a face, small enough to control in a normal room without spilling light onto every wall behind the subject.
The parabolic shape produces an even, directional output with a slightly crisp edge, and the silver interior maximises the light that actually reaches the subject. Quick-release assembly means it goes up and comes down fast, which is the difference between using it and leaving it in the bag on a tight schedule.
