How many people can it record at once?

Two. The system includes two transmitters and one receiver, recording each person on their own channel.

Does it work with a phone as well as a camera?

Yes. The receiver is designed to work with both cameras and smartphones, so the same kit covers a camera shoot and a phone-based one.

How is it different from the DJI Mic Mini?

Both cover two people. The Mic 3 is the larger, more capable system; the Mic Mini is smaller and lighter, and rents for less. If you are working run-and-gun and want the least kit possible, take the Mini.

Description

Rent the DJI Mic 3 in Colombo for LKR 3,000 per day. This two-person wireless microphone system suits interviews, weddings, documentaries, podcasts and small production crews. Select your rental dates to check availability, then add it to your cart and reserve online through Rentora. The DJI Mic 3 has two transmitters, one receiver and a charging case for recording two people at once. Confirm the connection to your camera or smartphone and the supplied cables or adapters with Rentora before booking.

Two people talking is the hardest audio problem on most small productions, and the one that ruins the most footage. The DJI Mic 3 solves it with two transmitters and a single receiver, so an interviewer and a subject — or two hosts — are recorded cleanly and separately without running cable across the room.

The receiver connects to both cameras and smartphones, which matters when the same kit has to cover a proper camera setup one day and a phone-based shoot the next. The charging case keeps all three pieces topped up between setups, so a full day of interviews does not stall on a flat transmitter.

Rented most often for interviews, podcasts, YouTube production and documentary work. If you only need to cover two people occasionally and want a smaller, cheaper option, look at the DJI Mic Mini.
